The students of this college have the access to the well equipped Gymkhana Halls (separate for Boys and Girls students), running track, badminton, table tennis, basket ball and volley ball courts, cricket, foot ball and hockey play grounds. Shri. D. M. Gaikwad, Physical Training Instructor provides the training for different sports to the students and manages the sports events organized at College and University levels. The students regularly take part in inter collegiate, inter university, ICAR, Ashwamedh sports and always excel in these events, often occupying the first positions.

The college is situated in central campus. Hence, all the university facilities of sports and games are used by the college students The college students use university playground and a well-equipped gymnasium building. The ground has been developed for the outdoor games viz., cricket, khokho, kabbadi, volleyball, basketball, etc. In addition to this, indoor games like table tennis, badminton are also available in the gymnasium building. Day to day management

The sport teacher helps and encourages students to participate in various games. Participating students develop their ability through the sports. Sports and related events to be conducted during academic year are finalized in the month of June at University level with detailed schedule inclusive of dates and places. Notice about the games is displayed and brought to the notice of the students. The list of participating students is prepared and daily practice is conducted. In certain events, if required special coaching to the students is given. Warm up exercises are taken before practice begins. During events, ground facilities are monitored daily. Any lacuna if noticed is corrected immediately so that students can practice daily. Selection of students for the event is done. Then students along with team manager participate in the Inter collegiate sports. The students selected from this college for inter university games are sent to University for further selection and participation in the events. Gymkhana hall and three other rooms of hostel where gym sets fitted are open for boys as well as girl students daily in the morning and evening. The gym set instruments are periodically examined and if servicing is required it is carried out. The necessary material for sports is provided to the students who use it. Yoga session of one hour for girl’s student in girl’s hostel was conducted for one and half month in evening hours in January & February. Television is fitted in the girls and boys hostel for recreation. PEY – 111 (Physical Education and Yoga) course is conducted for first year students. The necessary warm ups specified for each games are taught to the students. Also students are given training for various events included in the syllabus. Yoga practical covers about 50% weightage in the course. Students are briefed about the theoretical part of Yoga. Students are trained for micro exercise which is helpful before start of yoga. Various Yogasanas in standing, sitting and lying position are taught and practiced by students. So that students are prefect in yogasanas included in the curriculum. Various pranayamas are taught to the students and meditation in different mudras is guided.

The students who have registered for PHYEDN-111 attend the practical session from 6.15 to 8.15 hrs. The students interested in various sports participate in practice and coaching session from 6 to 8 pm. This helps the students for selections in the college team for inter collegiate tournaments. During the college hours the maintenance and marking of various grounds is carried out. Every day morning and evening boys and girls do workout regularly in the gym for physical fitness. boys practice Table Tennis and Badminton regularly. The college has won several prizes in intercollegiate sports. Every year students of this college represent university in ICAR sports and games also. Physical Training Instructor provides coaching to players, completes the selections process in presence of team managers. This college has a 52 seater bus for students to take them for various inter collegiate competitions.

The University Auditorium of 1000 capacity and College Auditorium of 300 capacity with the state of art facilities are available for organizing the various social and cultural activities. The college has the inbuilt culture of hosting cultural activities that keep the campus atmosphere lively and allow students to take break from the regular academic activities. These activities are led by staff advisor of cultural activities committee. This college organizes “Parents’ Day” biannually. The event is managed by the students and provide the opportunities for the parents to get impression of the ‘home away from home’ of their wards and the facilities such as college, the hostel, the laboratories, the playgrounds provided to her/him. On this occasion, the students organize small but compact exhibition where in the products and technologies developed by them, university faculties and manufacturers are displayed

Students of this college participate in essay, elocution and debating competition at College, inter-collegiate, University and inter-university levels. They have secured good positions and won several prizes and medals.

The students also participate in the 'Avishkar' (Research Festival), Indradhanushya.AgriUnifest, Avhan, Anveshan Competition.
