The Regional Training and Testing Centre of Department of Agriculture, Maharashtra State and was operational at Pune since 1962. With the formation of four SAU’s in Maharashtra, the centre is under MPKV, Rahuri.
Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, GOI, New Delhi has sanctioned Farm Machinery Testing Centers at SAU’s including MPKV, Rahuri as one of the Farm Machinery Testing Centre very recently. Accreditation of Farm Machinery Testing and Training Centre, Dr. ASCAET, MPKV, Rahuri as authorized National Farm Machinery Testing Centre by Department of Agriculture and Cooperation (Mechanization and Technology Division), Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, New Delhi.
