Student Counseling

One academic staff member is appointed as counselor for every 14 students. Counselor keeps close liaison with the students and students regarding their difficulties and problems, if any, throughout the degree programme. Though a student can approach any staff for help, the counselor has a ‘personal touch’ with the student and works as a ‘local guardian’. Therefore students feel more comfortable to express their difficulties with their counselors.

Anti-ragging

The College has adopted anti ragging policy and strictly implementing it. Preamble: In view of the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court dated 8.05.2009 and in consideration of the determination of the Central Government and the University Grants Commission to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging.
