Major objectives	To fabricate required number of prototypes as per the demands from farmers, Research institutes, govt. organizations etc. To promote the manufacturer for the fabrication of the improved implements
Outcomes	The following agricultural implements and hand tools are fabricated in workshop and sold to farmers:- Tractor operated Phule sugarcane seedling transplanter, tractor operated mole plough, tractor operated check basin former, Groundnut decorticator, Coconut dehuskar, Maize sheller, Mango harvester, Sapota harvester, Vaibhav sickle, Khurpee, Bhendi plucker, Laxmi sickle, Cycle hoe, Peg tooth weeder.

Title of the project	Establishment of Farm Machinery Testing, Training and Production Center

Major objectives	To test agricultural tools, implements and machinery manufactured by different manufactures with a view to assess their functional suitability and performance characteristics under different agro climatic conditions. To impart training to extension agencies, farmers, rural artisans and other beneficiaries and entrepreneurs etc. on operation, maintenance and repair of farm machineries.
Outcomes	Farm Machinery Testing Laboratory, Implement Shed, Farm Machinery Production Workshop, Training Hall and Agricultural Implements Museum have been constructed. Sophisticated testing instrumentation, Production Machinery, Audio Visual Aids have been procured thus strengthening testing, production and training activities. Testing of different farm tools, Agril. Implements and farm machinery manufactured by private entrepreneurs has been undertaken. Conducted capacity building training/demonstrations for farmers, rural artisans, and entrepreneurs, extension agencies on ‘Selection, operation, repairs and maintenance of agricultural machinery’.

Year of completion	March, 2015 Since April, 2015, FMTTC is operational in Self Reliant Mode generating revenue receipts to meet the expenditure on contingencies and wages.
